Marchand De Goede bio picture

welcome to my space

Welcome to my very first official blog. This is not just my blog but my site as well. Its work in progress but I’m bursting with excitement! I’ve been a photography enthusiast for many years now and the more I’m learning about the art of photography, the more my ambition grows to be the best photographer I can be.

I started out by buying my wife a digital SLR for christmas. After reading the manual a few times, and trying to teach her from what I’ve read, I discovered we didn’t quite share the same enthusiasm. I have since inherited and upgraded that very first camera (a few times :-), and still owe my wife a gift for that particular Christmas.

As a self taught photographer I have tried and tested different aspects of photography. It’s great to be able to work with people of all ages and backgrounds and most rewarding when you’re able to capture that special moment. In every photo I take, there’s a lesson to be learnt which I take with me to the next click of the shutter.

I aspire to become a top wedding photographer and take photos which people know immediately is a genuine moment and which hopefully burrows deep into their memories, keeping the atmosphere relaxed and above all, making it fun.
